How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Plant Operator will be responsible for the execution and completion of day-to-day operations. Engage in the safe handling of Anhydrous Ammonia and Ammonium Hydroxide processes and applications to accommodate Airgas consumers. Maintains neat, clean, and professional personal
appearance, and maintains facility to the professional standards set forth by Airgas. Listens to and resolves service inquiries and complaints.

- Bulk cargo tank loading/unloading/evacuation (anhydrous ammonia/ammonium hydroxide).
- Plant maintenance for all aspects of the facility.
- Truck and trailer maintenance including pump rebuilds and all other process pieces.
- Cold Flo sampling (anhydrous ammonia).
- Production and testing (ammonium hydroxide).
- Daily inventory/monitoring of products.
- Data recording/interpreting.
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
- Complete plant inspections and hose inspections.

Are you a MATCH?


- General understanding of the safety requirements while working with hazardous material

- Ability to communicate clearly and understand basic instruction when performing the daily operational tasks

- Understand how to forecast daily, weekly, and monthly production/maintenance requirements
- Work 50 - 60 hrs. aweek
- Spending 80-90% of time working outside in the elements
- Ability to perform basic math skills. Add, subtract, multiply and divide to include percentages
- Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.
- Able to work 12-14 hour shifts as needed including holidays and weekends
- Ability to be on feet walking throughout the facility 90% of the time
- General maintenance background in basic engine, pump, and hydraulic repairs
- CDL is not required but is a plus
