Salary: £28,571.40 per annum plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 45 hours per week between Monday-Friday split shift - 0600hrs - 1530hrs & 0730hrs - 1700hrs with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Additional hours paid as overtime. Weekend/out of hours work may be required at times, but is on a voluntary basis.

What you’ll be doing;
Assist with monitoring 3rd party contractors and visitors to make sure they remain safe at all times.
Assist with the discharge of bulk liquid from vehicles and barges at their allocated disposal points into the Plant storage tanks.
Assist with litter picking.
Start and stop Plant machinery as required. Full training will be provided.
Carry out daily check sheets in accordance with the instructions and report any defects.
Operate the Forklift Truck. Training will be provided.
What we're looking for;
Some experience or interest in mechanical engineering is desirable.
A full UK Driving license is desirable.
A team player with a flexible approach and able to work on own initiative.
Numeracy and literacy is essential.
Experience with spreadsheets and word processing documents desirable.
A previous background working in a wastewater treatment plant or other processing plant would be highly desirable.
Training/Workwear
Full training in all aspects of the role will be provided.
All Personal Protective Equipment and clothing will be provided.
