We are seeking a PhD Student Single Cell Technologies to join the Developmental Systems and Computational Biology group led by Gray Camp at the Institute of Human Biology (IHB) in Basel, Switzerland. Join us and expand expertise in integrated computational analyses of high-throughput, high-information-content data, focusing on complex human model systems.
We invite you to develop a research direction on integrative analyses of single-cell sequencing and imaging data for exploratory and translational research. In this role, you will:
Develop integrated computational analyses of single-cell sequencing and imaging data
Contribute to exploratory and translational research using complex human model systems
Work on diverse tissues and topics including development and disorders of the gut, brain, and eye
Apply your skills to cell programming and perturbation screens
Join a highly collaborative research environment and expand your computational expertise
To be successful in this role, you should have the following required qualifications
M.Sc. in computational biology, bioinformatics, biotechnology, or a related degree (Required)
Strong experience in single-cell data analysis: sequencing, spatial -omic, or imaging (Required)
Prior training and/or experience in machine learning (Preferred)
A drive to understand organoids and other complex models of human biology and disease
A desire to work within a highly collaborative research environment
