We are currently seeking a 340B Pharmacist to lead and manage our 340B Drug Pricing Program.  In this role, you will ensure compliance with federal regulations, oversee program operations, and collaborate across departments to optimize cost savings and patient care.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the institutional compliance expert on 340B regarding program details, policies, and procedures of the virtual inventory processes required for mixed-use and retail areas
  • Maintain policies and procedures to remain in compliance with HRSA
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the pharmacy split billing software
  • Monitor the purchases and replenishment of medications from the 340B, GPO, and pharmacy WAC accounts to ensure that there is no diversion of drug product
  • Maintain drug databases to reflect changes in drug formulary status
  • Review annual inventory of 340B purchased agents to ensure that we meet HRSA requirements
  • Review and refine 340B cost savings report in coordination with members of finance and internal audit, detailing purchasing, and replacement practices as well as dispensing patterns
  • Monitors ordering processes, integrating most current pricing from wholesaler (price updates occur quarterly), and analyzes invoices, shipping, and inventory processes
  • Develops and maintains internal relationships (accounting, legal, finance) and external relationships (wholesalers, manufacturers, vendors, pharmacies and third-party administrators) as needed for the 340B program
  • Continuously monitor max and par levels to effectively balance product availability and cost-efficient inventory control
  • Maintain awareness of deficiencies that have been observed at other facilities during recent HRSA audits and establish mitigating strategies to prevent failure points

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred
  • Current Delaware pharmacist license (or eligibility to reciprocate)
  • At least 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience required
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Strongly preferred: Experience with 340B program administration
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences, meetings, or site visits

Hourly Pay Range: $52.97 - $84.75

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
