Job Summary
Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitate information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle the most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
Responsibilities
- Manages a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes while managing ODMs that manufacture products for HP, such as inventory analysis and production planning, demand/supply match liaison between Planning and ODMs, work with Logistics, Customs and other teams to assure smooth operations, typically for a large global business unit.
- Performs varied tasks of a transactional nature involving the manufacturing process while using independent judgment.
- Develop processes to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production activities, quality checks, and inventory levels.
- Coordinates or leads regional and global business unit teams to maintain and enhance the current business processes.
- Monitors key metrics, creates relevant reporting metrics, and reviews information for continuous improvement.
- Contributes to priority projects with complex analysis and assists in developing recommendations.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
