Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Account Coordinator to join our growing team in Irvine or Carpinteria, CA!

 

SUMMARY:
Reporting to manager or supervisor, individuals whose primary responsibilities involve performing
administrative clerical functions as liaison or assistant to account managers, department leader, and
other department personnel as needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

▪ Excellent time-management skills, organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects with full attention to detail. Maintain the highest level of service for all clients

▪ Assists the account manager on the marketing of renewal business

▪ Handle the issuance of certificates and evidence of coverage so those clients receive the requested forms within a 24-hour period

▪ Process and send Excess and Catastrophe renewal policies

▪ Process endorsements as Brown & Brown procedures dictates

▪ Process cancellation and reinstatement notices accordingly as well as the handling of purging or expired or cancelled policies

▪ Receive all client billing questions. Help and/or route the client to the carrier for handling.

▪ Maintain all files in an organized manner, easily accessible and understandable to Account Manager and all personal lines personnel in accordance with the agency’s file set up procedure

▪ Review tasks on a daily basis, work tasks or retask as needed, in accordance with agency procedures

▪ Attach all correspondence, with clients or carriers, in a timely manner

▪ Other duties may be assigned

REQUIRED:
▪ High School Diploma
▪ Proficient with MS Office Suite
▪ Excellent verbal and written skills


PREFERRED:
▪ AA or Bachelor’s degree
▪ 1 - 3 years’ experience in a similar position
▪ Willingness to obtain and maintain a current valid P&C License

Pay Range

$25 - $28 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
