About your team
The Performance Analytics group provides performance information and portfolio analysis for Fidelity International Limited (FIL) worldwide. The teams operates globally with Team members in Dublin, Dalian, India, London and Tokyo.
About your role
The Performance Operations team is responsible for maintaining all data analytics related to portfolios, indices, and benchmarks within the performance systems. In addition, the team supports a variety of projects and manages a significant volume of ad hoc queries and requests.
Your key accountabilities will be:
• Set up and maintain fund, model, and benchmark data within performance systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Perform ETL operations on large volumes of data from various internal systems and sources.
• Support a robust data governance framework and enforce stringent controls on source data and calculated analytics.
• Run regular operational tasks on a daily and monthly basis, maintaining high standards of timeliness and quality.
• Run data quality checks to minimize all areas of operational risk and provide correction and preventative measures.
• Support the technology rollout of performance related systems ensuring advisory business requirements are met.
• Participate in multiple projects and system testing initiatives, providing analytical and operational support as needed.
• Provide assistance to colleagues and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
About you
This role is suited to individuals with strong numerical, analytical, and statistical skills, and a solid understanding of performance measurement and asset management. You must have advanced proficiency in Excel along with strong skills in Access, Outlook, VBA, and SQL. Experience with Python and Generative AI is essential. The role requires high accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and maintain complex data. You should be self-motivated, adaptable to change, and enthusiastic about continuous learning and development. Strong project management capabilities and the ability to work under tight deadlines are important. A collaborative mindset and commitment to team success are key to thriving in this dynamic environment.
