Job Description:
Provides diverse administrative and project support to members of the Corporate People Team including assisting with onboarding, meeting planning, local recognition, domestic and non-domestic People Team communications, direct work with the Chief People Officer. Incumbent will serve as the Local Recognition Partner for the Shine the Light program and demonstrate autonomy in the work. Components of the position require autonomy in decision-making.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- People Team administrative support
- Provide support on routine administrative responsibilities, such as ordering lunches for meetings, processing/delivering incoming mail, stocking/maintaining offices supplies, file organization, and additional duties as needed
- Support for the Chief People Officer and the People Team as needed on special projects
- Onboarding
- Handle ordering background checks, gift baskets, credit cards (as needed) for new Corporate team members across the enterprise
- Schedule orientation meetings (IT, Benefits, Safety, photo)
- Manage the new hire announcement process
- Meeting Planning
- Meeting and event planning, including coordination of global People Team meetings, strategic planning meetings, conference, etc. Responsibilities include set up and clean up, ordering refreshments/lunches, gathering materials and supplies, etc.
- Work with Chief People Office and members of the People Leadership Team to plan meetings throughout the year
- Communications
- Manage routine People Update sent to the People Organization
- Create BW Wellbeing newsletter for the St. Louis campus
- Manage assigned distribution lists
- Site owner for People Team SharePoint page
- Local Recognition Partner for Shine the Light program
- Manage nominations for the Corporate team
- Work with nominator on details for award presentation
- On-Site Responsibilities
- Maintain kitchenette – manage stock of beverages, coffee items, utensils, etc.
- Keep kitchenette area tidy including loading/unloading dishwasher, periodically clean out fridge, wipe counters
- Order office supplies for team
- Send tickets to MOST or IT as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:
- 2-4 years administrative experience required
Supervisory/Responsibility:
- Individual contributor w/no direct reports
Work Environment:
This is an office position at the headquarters of a manufacturing company. The employee will spend the majority of their time in the office area or in one of the other buildings that comprise the St. Louis campus. When and if required, the employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in a manufacturing area.
Position Type:
This is a regular, full-time position with occasional overtime. Must be able, available and willing to work more than 40 hours per week, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
Travel:
Local travel may be required for this position. Additional travel may be required and is generally less than 10%.
