About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on and process-minded People Services Specialist to join our Turkey People Services team on a 1-year fixed term contract. In this role, you will combine day-to-day HR operational support with process analysis and redesign, helping us strengthen HR service delivery in a leaner team setup.

Working closely with the People Experience Partner, HR Business Partners, Payroll, and Global People Services teams, you will:

  • Deliver key HR lifecycle activities

  • Identify and fix broken or missing processes as well as support the mapping of stranded activities

  • Remove duplication and manual effort

  • Help us leverage existing systems and automation tools to work smarter
     

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations Delivery

  • Deliver accurate and timely support for all employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, benefits administration, payroll inputs, and employee data management in Workday.

  • Management of HR operational tasks in ServiceNow and Workday; acting as the single point of contact for the business and escalating to Tier 2 & 3 SMEs, 3rd Party HR service providers & CoEs to ensure timely resolution to meet agreed service level agreements.

  • Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with data privacy and local labor laws.

  • Support employees and managers across full employee lifecycle providing advisory (“how do I?”) and coaching support on HR procedures (process & policy) covering key complex processes.

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with employees, managers, Tier 2 & 3 Specialists and other stakeholders throughout the case resolution process.

  • Stay updated on relevant People Services policies, procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate and up-to-date support for employees and compliance with standards.

2. Process Analysis & Improvement

  • Perform Audits (peer reviews) aligned with the Quality Framework designed for the location, ensuring service quality and identifying areas for improvement in processes.

  • Map and document existing HR processes in Turkey, covering all employee lifecycle and benefits administration activities from hire to retire.

  • Identify stranded activities as well as broken, missing, or duplicate steps and work with stakeholders to assign clear roles and responsibilities.

  • Recommend and help implement process improvements that align with global standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.


3. Service Optimization & Automation

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of People Services processes, Haleon policies and service delivery through proactive feedback and participation in optimisation and automation initiatives.

  • Review daily operations to find opportunities for automation and improved use of existing tools (Workday, ServiceNow, digital workflows).

  • Work with the global People Services team to embed changes, track progress, and ensure sustainable adoption.

  • Reduce manual, repetitive work by simplifying processes and removing unnecessary handoffs.


4. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with the People Experience Partner, HRBPs, payroll, and global PS colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Support change management by creating clear process documentation, training materials, and communications for managers and employees.

  • Act as a point of contact for process-related queries and troubleshooting.
     

Skills & Experience Required


Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in HR Operations / People Services roles, ideally in a multinational or shared services environment

  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field

Technical:

  • Solid understanding of HR lifecycle activities and strong knowledge and understanding of complex employee data management processes, including data maintenance and validation.

  • Deep understanding of HR policies, procedures and regulatory & data requirements. Understanding of local labor law in Turkey is an advantage.

  • High proficiency in Workday and ticketing platforms (e.g. ServiceNow) among other HR technology with the ability to leverage tools for enhanced service delivery.

  • Experience with process mapping, documentation, and improvement initiatives.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.

  • Proficiency in Turkish and English (written and spoken).

Desirable:

  • Exposure to automation tools, digital workflows, or Lean/Six Sigma principles.

  • Experience supporting change management.

Behavioral:

  • Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on time management and prioritization

  • Ability to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative manner.
