Your tasks:

Collaborate closely with the Country HR Manager to translate strategic direction into actionable plans and drive the execution of the People Strategy within Germany.

  • Provide proactive, hands-on support to business leaders and employees in Germany across all HR-related topics, ensuring compliance with collective agreements, and internal policies. This includes executing HR decisions such as talent development initiatives, retention strategies, and upskilling efforts.

  • Execution of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle – from onboarding to development, retention, and offboarding.

  • Support the execution of individual disciplinary actions in Germany, including preparation and documentation.

  • Assist in managing vendor relationships, monitoring compliance, and facilitating smooth cooperation in day-to-day HR processes.

  • Support employee-focused communication and change initiatives within the business, particularly during organizational transformations. Assist in translating strategic messages into clear, employee-relevant communication and help ensure smooth implementation of change processes at the operational level.

  • Demonstrate strong commitment to payroll-related processes by actively supporting the Payroll Specialist in operational tasks and ensuring continuity as a reliable backup. This includes understanding payroll workflows, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and helping to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of payroll activities.

Build strong international network and key stakeholder partnerships

  • Establish and maintain strong connections with key business stakeholders in Germany to ensure HR activities are well integrated into local business priorities and aligned with broader strategic goals.

  • Coordinate and support collaboration with external HR service providers and contractual partners, ensuring service delivery meets legal requirements, internal standards, and operational needs.

  • Actively contribute to building and maintaining a reliable external HR network, fostering strong working relationships that support efficient and compliant HR operations. 

Lead and contribute to HR Programs, drive market intelligence

  • Support HR workstreams in projects and programs that impact the German organization, by contributing to planning, coordination, and implementation activities.

  • Continuously develop your market awareness, which includes knowledge about direct competitors and their people strategies.

 Your background:

  • Experience in HR Business Partner or People Partner roles, or proven expertise in at least three core HR focus areas such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Generalist, HR Operations, HRIS, or Learning & Development – ideally with a strong execution mindset and the ability to support strategic initiatives at the local level.

  • Ability to execute talent strategies and people agenda, translating strategic direction into actionable plans.

  • Deep understanding of business goals and impact on people strategy

  • Ability to drive talent strategies and people agenda for the aligned business unit

  • Practical experience in supporting the implementation of talent initiatives, including retention, upskilling, and workforce planning, in close collaboration with business leaders.

  • Solid knowledge of labor law matters, particularly within Germany, and awareness of legal frameworks and cultural differences across other geographies.

  • Commitment to payroll-related processes, with the ability to support the Payroll Specialist and act as a reliable backup to ensure continuity, accuracy, and compliance

  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster trust and collaboration with key stakeholders within and outside of Germany.

  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority, navigating complex environments with confidence and diplomacy.

  • Exceptional Communication skills and ability to facilitate conflict

  • Creative and solution-oriented approach to problem solving, with a focus on practical implementation and continuous improvement.

  • Strong people and business focus, understanding company’s business model and direction

  • Ability to link people cost with business outcomes and financial targets

  • Fluency in English and German is required
