The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that shape strategic workforce decisions? Join our People & Culture team on a 12-month max term contract as a People, Optimisation and Insights Specialist to transform our Analytics and Insights delivery to help our leaders drive data-informed decision-making and empower them with predictive and prescriptive analytics.
To do this successfully you will:
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support proactive decision-making
Build capability across leadership teams to independently access, interpret, and apply people data in strategic and operational contexts
Partner with People & Culture (P&C) leaders to identify key business questions and translate them into tailored analytics solutions
Maintain high standards of data accuracy and consistency across systems including Workday, payroll platforms and external survey tools
Define and implement data definitions, governance processes and reporting standards to ensure reliable and consistent data usage
Provide insights that inform talent management, capability development and succession planning initiatives
Perform detailed analysis of pay equity and gender pay gaps and recommend actionable strategies to address disparities
Analyse and forecast workforce trends, attrition risks and pipeline health for critical roles to support long-term planning
Integrate people data with job architecture, capability frameworks, and external market benchmarks to ensure strategic alignment.
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
Proven experience in People Analytics, HR Insights or broader Data Analytics, with a strong track record of delivering impactful, data-driven solutions
Advanced skills in SQL, Power BI or Tableau, Excel, and data modelling, with the ability to design and deliver compelling data visualisations
A solid grasp of HR and workforce-related metrics, with the ability to interpret and apply data in the context of organisational strategy
The ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence senior leadership and support strategic decision-making
Strong project management capabilities and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement, with experience working across diverse teams and senior leadership groups.
