People & Leadership Coordinator

The Opportunity:

We have a great opportunity for someone with exceptional HR administration skills to join our team as People & Leadership Coordinator.

In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact for HR administrative matters, providing specialist support to ensure our managers have the right tools, advice and information to make great people decisions. You’ll thrive in a busy environment as a key member of our People & Leadership team – supporting the full employee lifecycle and contributing to a positive and efficient HR function.

You'll be working on a variety of tasks including:

  • Managing end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes - from recruitment to exit.
  • Providing cover support for Payroll when required.
  • Maintaining and updating team member records.
  • Contributing to HR reporting and insights.
  • Being the first point of HR advice in line with employment documentation and policy. 

Location: 1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060.

Hours: 28 hours per week, Monday - Friday

What we’re looking for:

  • You will have 3 + years' experience in a fast-paced working environment performing as a HR/recruitment co-ordinator or in an administrator role.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a can-do attitude
  • Confidence and competence in using HR systems and databases, preferably Workday.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Actively demonstrate a high level of professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain working relationships.
  • Exercises a balanced, informed and solutions focused approach to problem solving.
  • Has strong time management and planning skills to manage competing priorities while still maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding or knowledge of relevant employment legislation.
  • Flexibility to increase working hours over our busy period October to March.
