SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Manager of People & Culture, to lead talent acquisition and recruitment for both Kimpton Seafire and Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the hiring managers in departmental recruitment and staffing: post jobs and screen candidates, create offer letters, etc.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and candidate databases.
- Coordinate and attend Recruitment Fairs.
- Collaborate with the Immigration team for work permit applications.
- Assist in producing and/or amending job descriptions, and offer letters.
- Drafting and posting job advertisements across various platforms including LinkedIn and other social media channels.
- Champion Caymanian recruitment efforts.
- Liaise with department heads to understand staffing needs and timelines.
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment events.
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies and employment regulations.
- Work closely with the Training Manager and Immigration Manager for Regulation 6 and succession training for Caymanians.
- Liaise with recruitment companies regarding recruitment needs, when necessary.
- Oversee the Employee Referral Program.
- Provide onsite Human Resources support and visibility for your property by fostering an open-door policy and serve as an employee advocate, cultural ambassador, and subject matter expert.
- Actively and consistently participate in weekly hotel staff meetings, daily line up meetings, Management meetings and/or departmental meetings, as needed or otherwise requested.
- Ensure rights to work verification/ documentation is on each employee file and for all new employees as part of the recruitment process.
- Additional projects and responsibilities may be designated by the Director or Assistant Director of P+C.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING:
- 3 years of HR experience, with at least 1 at a manager level.
- 1 year experience in Hotel/Hospitality HR.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Hotel Management or related field preferred.
- SHRM or any other HRM designation a plus.
- Knowledge of BambooHR, Greenhouse and TCP a plus.
- Robust understanding of all areas of the hotel industry, and the positions that we recruit for.
- Strong computer skills to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Expert organizational, task-management, and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven leadership skills, flexible with ability to adapt to frequent changes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Cayman Islands Immigration Law.
- Naturally outgoing and friendly attitude with personal commitment and passion for service excellence in order to consistently deliver and demonstrate service standards to our internal customers.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and protect employee privacy.
- Ability to type at least 50 WPM.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies & procedures a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of Local Laws and Employment legislations desirable.
- This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and local public holidays.

Salary range: $85,000-95,000 USD annually + bonus
