Role overview:

The People Analytics team partners across the People & Places organisation and business to uncover data-driven insights that inform how we attract, engage, and grow talent globally. We turn complex data into actionable stories that spark smarter, more human decisions.

As a People Analytics Manager, you’ll serve as a hands-on business intelligence expert and a strategic thought partner. You’ll lead complex analytical projects from concept to delivery — helping the business forecast future trends, measure program impact, and strengthen data-driven decision-making across our organisation. You’ll also play a key role in shaping our data infrastructure, ensuring that our people data is accessible, trusted, and insightful.

This role sits at the intersection of analytics, storytelling, and change — perfect for someone who thrives on variety, loves connecting dots, and believes people data should inspire progress, not just reports.

What you'll be doing:

Data & Analytics:

  • Partner with People Team and business leaders to define success metrics and evaluation frameworks for HR programs and initiatives — especially where goals are still evolving or ambiguous.
  • Design and conduct program evaluations that measure impact, inform future investment, and tell compelling stories of outcomes and opportunities.
  • Build predictive and forecasting models that anticipate workforce trends and inform strategic planning (e.g., attrition, hiring, or engagement patterns).
  • Support ad hoc analysis requests while also driving long-term, proactive insights.

Visualisation & Storytelling:

  • Build impactful dashboards in Tableau and Excel that bring insights to life for key leaders across HR and the wider business.
  • Translate technical analyses into clear, visually engaging narratives that drive understanding and action.
  • Continuously innovate on how we visualise and communicate people data - always balancing precision with playfulness.

Change & Adoption:

  • Champion change and analytics adoption by coaching HR partners and leaders who are new to data-driven decision making.
  • Develop resources, demos, and workshops that empower users to self-serve and interpret data confidently.
  • Act as an internal evangelist for the power of data storytelling, influencing how SIE thinks about its people.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across reporting and analysis pipelines.
  • Develop and automate advanced ETL workflows using tools such as Alteryx to extract, transform, and load people data into the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Lead data warehousing efforts by designing, auditing, and integrating data from multiple systems (Workday, HRIS, surveys, etc.) to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure data architecture.
  • Stay curious — experimenting with new technologies (like AI and automation) to improve our speed, scale, and storytelling.

Who you are:

  • A curious problem solver who blends analytical rigour with creative storytelling.
  • Comfortable working autonomously on complex projects - from framing the right question to delivering the right answer.
  • Passionate about bringing others along on the data journey - from sceptics to superusers.
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and approachable - embodying the Human and Playful spirit of People & Places.
  • Future-focused and adaptable - always scanning for the next opportunity to make our work more Visionary and Impactful

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 8+ years (or equivalent) of experience in People/HR Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Tableau.
  • Solid experience with HRIS data (Workday preferred) and HR program evaluation.
  • Expertise in Excel for advanced analysis and data modelling.
  • Experience building ETL pipelines (Alteryx or equivalent) and integrating data into warehouses.
  • Demonstrated success defining and tracking success metrics and conducting program evaluations.
  • Expertise in forecasting and predictive modelling techniques, including iterative accuracy improvement over time.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business narratives and drive data-informed decisions and actions.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence and build trust.

Desirable Skills:

  • Expertise in Workday reporting, AI-assisted analytics, and advanced automation tools.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and modelling techniques (e.g., regression, clustering).

Benefits:

  • Discretionary bonus opportunity
  • Hybrid Working (within Flexmodes)
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Dental Scheme
  • 25 days holiday per year
  • On Site Gym
  • Subsidised Café
  • Free soft drinks
