The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Pega Business Architect Lead to work in our Maryland office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the US government customer operate, maintain, modernize and transform its legacy system.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Pega Business Architect Lead is senior role that acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to define and implement Pega solutions.
Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
Translating business needs into technical requirements, managing the software development lifecycle, and guiding both technical and non-technical teams to ensure project goals are met.
Acts as the primary communication point, translating business objectives into actionable requirements for developers and explaining technical constraints to business users.
Elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements, and works with leadership to define business and technical strategies.
Manages functional requirements throughout the software development lifecycle and participates in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
Collaborates with technology teams to design solutions that meet business objectives, often involving creating process flows, use cases, and wireframes.
Mentors’ junior business analysts and promote best practices within the team.
Create and perform analysis of SLA/TPM/KPI metrics for reporting and delivery.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems and a min of 8-12 years of relevant prior experience
At least 5 years’ experience with Pega with at least 2 years using Pega Cloud
Ability to obtain Public Trust
Certified Pega Business Architect
Strong background in business analysis, requirements gathering, and use case development.
Experience working in a software development environment, and a strong understanding of the Pega Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience enhancing performance with automation, AIOps and/or scalability methods
Pega large system design, management, data migration and integration experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Experience with business process modeling and change management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum SAFe methodologies
Data Quality and validation experience
Pega Certified Lead System Architect
Experience with HCD and UI/UX
Experience working on US government contracts
Experience with Pega Customer Service
