General Description:
At BeiGene, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Director, Payor Accounts (DPA). The ideal candidate will represent BeiGene and should possess a combination of advanced qualifications and strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage and be responsible for ensuring private/public payer coverage and reimbursement for our oncology therapies on both the medical and pharmacy benefit books of business within health plans/PBMs.
This role will be responsible to develop, communicate, and implement Strategic Business Plans for assigned accounts and expand corporate relationships with key stakeholders and healthcare decision makers. The candidate will work with all appropriate internal cross functional partners, including Patient Support Services and will interact with other members of the Market Access team. The candidate will provide critical competitive intelligence within the market access marketplace, provide updates, direction, and input to the BeiGene leadership team and assist in the development of the overall market access strategic plan. The candidate will establish appropriate coverage, lead pull through initiatives for Payors and PBMs and minimize access barriers to BeiGene’s oncology portfolio.
DPA will be aligned with the Mid West portion of the country.
Responsible for all market access segments within the geography: both Pharmacy and Medical benefit contacts/teams, including Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare (MAC’s and CAC’s).
Operate as “single point of contact” for market access initiatives supporting the designated geography.
Support prioritized accounts and pull through programs to facilitate product adoption.
Establish critical corporate relationships with key Account stakeholders within the geography: Medicare carrier directors, Payor and PBM medical and pharmacy directors, state Medicaid directors.
Responsible and accountable for the successful implementation within the geography of the strategic and tactical plan for Market Access team.
