Job Summary

Provides team leadership and assists the team in training, scheduling, and workflow to ensure customers are serviced and administrative duties are completed in a timely manner. Directs and maintains accountability for complex, multi-faceted programs. Provides administrative support through the appropriate use of software and/or other tools. Acts as a subject matter expert and resource for others on the team. Exhibits initiative and knowledge to assure operations carry on in the usual manner in management's absence.

Essential Functions

  • Assumes accountability for the assessment of educational needs and develops, implements, evaluates, and revises educational programs/orientation/curriculum/materials, using principles of education and adult learning to enhance learner competence.

  • Provides direction and instruction to team members according to department standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Assists leadership in resolving work related issues.

  • Acts as a mentor related to open/direct communication and fosters team building and leads work teams across disciplines/departments.

  • Supports staffing and scheduling practices including planning, and organizing day to day services of team members based on workload, patient volumes, experience, and availability.

  • Ensures adequate, safe, and clean equipment is available for transporting of patients and staff are educated on proper use and storage.

  • Assists in the development / data collection / analysis / action plan related to area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years of relevant experience Customer service environment with increasing level of responsibility

  • CRT-Basic Life Support Instructor (BLS INSTR) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days

Preferred

  • Associate's Degree

  • CRT-EPIC Credentialed Trainer - Upon Hire
