Job Description

At Alpine Formula One Team, we have an opportunity to join our well-established Composites department as a Parts Coordinator on nightshift.

We are looking to add to our excellent team with individuals who are motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence – and ultimately a championship contending team.

The Role 

This role is critical for tracking and coordinating parts through all stages of production using ERP systems like D365, ensuring accurate records, timely movement between departments, and full traceability. Working closely with production, quality, and logistics teams, you’ll support kitting, flag delays or shortages, and maintain up-to-date documentation. As the key point of contact between production cells and planning, you’ll provide regular updates, drive continuous improvement, and ensure a smooth effective delivery of parts to the required areas of the function.

Key Accountabilities include:

Parts Management:

  • Track and manage composite parts through all stages of production using ERP systems (e.g., D365).
  • Maintain accurate records of part status, location, and readiness.
  • Coordinate the movement of parts between departments (e.g., trim shop, inspection, assembly).
  • Ensure all parts are correctly labelled and traceable.

Production Support:

  • Liaise with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of parts.
  • Support kitting and preparation of parts for build stations or race events.
  • Flag and escalate any delays, shortages, or quality issues.

Documentation & Systems:

  • Maintain up-to-date part status in digital systems and physical trackers.
  • Ensure all paperwork, care notes, and build documentation are complete and accurate.
  • Assist with inventory checks and audits.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Act as the key point of contact between production cells and planning/logistics.
  • Provide regular updates to team leads and planners on part readiness.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to part flow and traceability.
  • Take personal responsibility for your health and safety and for that of others who may be affected by your actions and behaviour
  • Comply with the Teams’ requirements for environmental protection
  • Support the teams Equality, Diversity and Inclusion goals
  • Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably required by the Team

The Person

Essential:

  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or motorsport environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Strong communicator and team player.
  • Calm under pressure with a flexible approach.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Passion for motorsport and engineering excellence.
