Part-Time Lecturer for IE2108 Data Structures and Algorithms in Python
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-Time Lecturer for Data Structures and Algorithms in Python. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate elective course commencing in January 2026.
This 13-week course is a core module for Year 2 and 3 undergraduates. The course aims to provides a systematic introduction to data structures, algorithms, and algorithmic analysis using Python, focusing on efficient program development with topics like abstract data types, trees, graphs, sorting, searching, greedy algorithms, and basic AI classification techniques. Students will gain both theoretical understanding and practical Python programming experience.
Applicants should possess minimally a recognized MEng degree and preferably PhD, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related field, have extensive industry and/or academic experience with a passion for teaching. Instructors are expected to excel at teaching and work closely with students.
