Job Summary
This role is primarily a specialist position responsible for promoting the sales and operational interests of the company within the assigned sales region (National SAF).
The incumbent will ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency in packaging and bottle-washing operations while maintaining strict adherence to company standards, procedures, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Management Systems
• Ensure bottles and crates are cleaned with a consistently low rewash rate.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and process control throughout all operations.

2. Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Perform daily titrations using the correct reagents and ensure all analyses are accurate and repeatable.
• Ensure laboratory equipment calibration is done as per the schedule.
• Do not use expired reagents under any circumstances.
• Maintain laboratory glassware and equipment in good condition; replace damaged items promptly.
• Order reagents and consumables on time to avoid stockouts.

3. Quality Control
• Conduct 50-crate counts and drag tests; ensure chemical residuals remain within specification.
• Verify conveyors are cleaned properly.
• Oversee all CIP (Clean-in-Place) operations and conduct random testing for OPC products.
• Flag out-of-spec results to the Account Manager immediately.
• Ensure all information and records are accurate, traceable, and centrally stored for easy retrieval.

4. Reporting
• Complete and submit Bottle Washer and Crate Washer reports daily.
• Track and record treatment data, including caustic consumption.
• Conduct and record the following analyses:
• Caustic concentration
• Aluminate concentration
• Carbonate concentration
• Additives concentration
• Lube concentration
• Record and monitor EBI readings; flag any deviations to the Account Manager.
• Calculate and document water and lube consumption.
• Monitor and record operator attendance (clock-in and clock-out times).
• Prepare and submit:
• Consolidated Diversey reports
• Stock control and stock reports to the customer (weekly)
• Chemical usage reports (weekly)
• Investigate and provide timely feedback on any reported downtime.

5. General Duties
• Perform all duties assigned by the Company relevant to the business operations.
• Comply with all company directives, policies, rules, and regulations.
• Attend all training and development programs as required by the Company.
• This Job Description supersedes the job specification outlined in the employee’s original contract of employment.
• Verify and confirm completion of operator task lists and assigned actions from the Account Manager.
• Check and record chemical stock levels and ensure spares are available on-site.
• Attend daily morning meetings and capture operational data for BW (Bottle Washer) and TT (Treatment) reports.
• Collect operator feedback and compile an Action Log for submission to the Account Manager.
• Oversee receiving and management of chemical deliveries and ensure all reports are submitted to the Account Manager before the end of the shift.
