As the Packaging Operator, you would operate equipment and process related control systems in a safe and efficient manner. The role involves optimizing plant performance by monitoring process equipment and conditions, conducting field checks, adjusting control systems and operating equipment based on process controls and observations. The Packaging Operator will work in the sealant packaging area of the plant, providing support on the cartridge and tube filling lines. As the Packaging Operator, it is your responsibility to use standard operating procedures and/or analytical/scientific methods to address defined and straightforward problems. You must have the ability to select solutions from established options to resolve typical administrative, data organization, and data coordination problems. You will be accountable for managing your own assigned workload with no additional supervisory responsibilities. In this role, your performance impacts the quality of your own work as well as your team’s work.
Operate packaging equipment and process control systems safely and efficiently within the sealant packaging area.
Monitor equipment performance and process conditions, making adjustments as needed to optimize plant operations.
Conduct field checks and inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meets operational standards.
Support cartridge and tube filling lines, ensuring consistent output and quality.
Follow established work processes and standard operating procedures to complete routine tasks accurately.
Communicate technical information with team members, understanding how your role connects with others in the workgroup.
A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required.
Current, valid US driver's license is required.

A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
2 or more years of manufacturing or related experience is preferred.
Process Monitoring and Equipment Operation - Ability to operate packaging machinery and control systems efficiently while observing equipment performance and process conditions to ensure safe and optimal production.
Field Inspection and Troubleshooting - Skill in conducting field checks and identifying equipment issues or process deviations, using standard procedures to make adjustments or escalate concerns.
Technical Communication - Capability to exchange basic technical information with team members, ensuring alignment on process changes, equipment status, and operational updates.
Standard Procedure Adherence - Proficiency in following established work instructions and standard operating procedures to complete routine tasks and resolve straightforward problems.
Workload Management and Quality Focus - Responsibility for managing assigned tasks independently, with attention to detail that impacts both personal output and overall team performance.
Wear safety equipment, such as earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes.
Wear and use respirators.
Perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
Work in tight or closed-in spaces.
Climb stairs/ladders and work high off the ground.
Stand or walk for extended periods of time.
Lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
