Your Role
In this position, your primary goal will be to help wineries navigate the complexities of wine packaging. You will discover their unique needs, present tailored solutions, and offer value-added packaging options that enhance their brand’s image. Your expertise will help guide wineries through the entire packaging process, from initial consultation to the final product, ensuring they receive high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building relationships with new and existing customers in the wine industry
Identifying packaging needs and offering customized solutions
Collaborating with internal design and production teams to bring customer visions to life
Handling the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, including managing customer expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction
Travel to winery locations for face-to-face meetings and project consultations will be expected
Your Background and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 3+ years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in a related industry such as packaging, food & beverage, or wine
Proven track record in sales with a focus on medium to small-sized businesses, particularly those in the wine or craft beverage sectors
Strong ability to build relationships, understand client needs, and offer tailored solutions
Solid communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM tools for customer management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
