Job Description:

Responsible for managing a wide variety of packaging art development, focusing on the management, execution, and successful onboarding of packaging items through our PLM onboarding processes. Includes project set up within project management systems, working cross-functionally to gather project requirements and contacts, and leading/overseeing projects to completion. Responsible for clearly communicating requirements to internal and external graphic designers, printability partners, regulatory compliance partners, supply chain partners, packaging development partners, internal and external customers, and prepress and print vendors. Responsible for knowing and communicating overall project status and timing via use of multiple systems. Will demonstrate strong project management and system skills, excel in time management, have strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to other departments, demonstrate excellent people/interpersonal skills, and show strong attention to detail while positively representing the Product Information & Systems Management team throughout the company.

This role is 100% on-site (Monday-Friday) located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Receive a $10,000 relocation bonus PLUS a generous relocation package if relocating more than 50 miles for this position.

What you’ll do:

Packaging Artwork Project Management

  • Collaboration:
    • Working cross-functionally with business stakeholders to understand and meet customer (internal and external) expectations.
    • Coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Product Strategies, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and other teams to ensure alignment on packaging requirements.
    • Acting as a Process Owner for projects, change requests, and day-to-day responsibilities involving packaging artwork onboarding processes.
    • Building and maintaining strong, effective relationships with internal partners, external customers, and suppliers.
  • Project Management:
    • Overseeing the execution of packaging artwork projects from initiation to completion.
    • Leading decision making processes and ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
    • Exhibiting project management skills and taking ownership by conducting thorough analysis, managing scope changes, and identifying and mitigating risks to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Communication:
    • Maintaining clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
    • Providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Industry and Production Knowledge:
    • Utilizing an understanding of printing processes and production requirements to educate and enhance organizational awareness of these processes.

  • Process Improvement
    • Continuous focus on improving data quality, process efficiency, and speed-to-market onboarding
    • Ensuring data quality standards are implemented and works to document processes in support of these standards.
    • Focusing on and maintaining KPIs and metrics to support the team in both data quality and speed-to-market goals.

    • Displays curiosity in new tools and technologies to enhance data quality, streamline processes, and accelerate speed-to-market improvements.

    • Conducting root cause analysis and leading projects to implement standards and improve processes to prevent future data quality or process efficiency issues.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelors in Print Production, Packaging Design, Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Master Data Management, Operations .
  • 1-3 years of experience in related field
  • Knowledge of graphic arts, product labeling, prepress and printing a plus.
  • Must have a high attention to detail, and consistent level of high accuracy. 
  • Understands the importance of small details and takes the time to ensure accuracy. 
  • Understands making one small change can impact many other systems, processes, etc.
  • Applies strong investigative skills and uses data to address systemic and root cause issues.
  • Is proactive and able to identify and address issues early. Is responsive and accountable when problems arise.
  • Ability to make decisions with limited direction from others.
  • Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have technical skills to master project management software and the other internal Product Lifecycle Management systems
  • Can clearly demonstrate strong project management and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage/lead multiple projects and deadlines at one time
  • Can clearly provide accurate direction to process performers in the art development process, and provide key stakeholders with project status and timing information
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills in order to build relationships across the organization and with customers and suppliers
  • Must be self-directed and possess the ability to complete tasks with limited direction. Must be able to work independently and on teams.
  • Strong communication skills and exceptional customer service skills a must.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and exude high-energy in a fun team environment required.
