Main Purpose:
We are seeking a motivated OTM Technical Consultant with at least 2 years of experience in Oracle Transportation Management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in OTM configuration, integration, reporting, and customization, along with a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and support of OTM technical solutions.
Work on OTM configurations such as agents, automation agents, workflows, and business process setups.
Develop and maintain OTM customizations, including XML, XSL, SQL/PLSQL, BI Publisher Reports, and custom screens.
Support integration activities with external systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, 3rd party logistics providers) using OTM’s Web Services/XML/Integration Manager.
Provide L2/L3 support for OTM incidents, enhancements, and change requests.
Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
Participate in testing (unit, system, and UAT) and resolve defects.
Create technical documentation, including solution design, configuration documents, and user guides.
Stay updated on OTM features, patches, and best practices
SKILSS & COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
2 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM SaaS).
Strong knowledge of: SQL, PL/SQL, XML/XSLT, Java, or Groovy scripting (preferred)
BI Publisher Reports and OTBI
OTM configuration objects (Agents, Actions, Rules, Itineraries, Rates, etc.)
Familiarity with OTM Integration Manager, REST/SOAP Web Services, and APIs.
Good understanding of transportation & logistics processes (Order management, Shipment planning, Execution, Freight Payment).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Middleware tools.
Basic understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting
