Summary:

This leadership role is responsible for driving commercial technology strategy and execution, with a strong focus on Oracle CPQ and related systems. The position oversees end-to-end program delivery—from strategic planning and implementation to optimization and performance management. It involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring system stability, mitigating risks, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals. The leader will also be accountable for measuring business impact, fostering team development, and promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Commercial Strategy Enablement:

Drive central initiatives that improve commercial capabilities, especially around pricing, quoting, and deal configuration using Oracle CPQ. Align technology roadmaps with business growth objectives and market demands.

  • Program Leadership:

Guide the complete implementation of commercial technology programs—from gathering requirements through deployment and optimizing post-launch. Ensure alignment with sales and finance collaborators to enhance business impact.

  • System Stability & Optimization:

Secure ongoing performance and reliability of Oracle CPQ and connected commercial systems. Proactively tackle system issues and integrate improvements.

  • Risk & Dependency Management:

Recognize and handle risks and interdependencies throughout commercial projects. Guarantee smooth integration between Oracle CPQ and upstream/downstream systems.

  • Team Performance & Development:

Develop and guide a high-performing team passionate about commercial transformation. Cultivate teamwork, ongoing learning, and implementation of standard methodologies.

  • Business Value Realization:

Measure and communicate the impact of technology initiatives on commercial outcomes. Develop executive-level reporting that highlights return on investment and efficiency gains.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead a team of product managers, product owners, and business analysts specializing in commercial systems.

  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members.

  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Managers to remove roadblocks and ensure delivery success.

  • Promote a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related, Business, IT field required

  • 3–5 years of experience in managing programs within commercial systems.

  • 3–5 years managing teams.

  • Extensive background in Oracle CPQ and SAP.

Required Technologies:

Oracle CPQ (primary focus)

SAP (ECC/CRM, S/4 HANA)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Familiarity with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP®, PMI-ACP) preferred.

  • Agile Certification (e.g., A-CSPO, CSP-PO) preferred.

Preferred Technologies:
