About the role: 

 

This is a unique opportunity to join our existing Trading Operations team in London or Jersey City. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth cash management and treasury management, while supporting our mission of delivering world-class service and efficiency. 

 

This role includes weekend coverage of between 1-3 times per month.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Risk & Liquidity Management: Proactively monitor and mitigate financial risks. Conduct daily monitoring of cash positions and actively manage the balance sheet to optimise liquidity and ensure operational efficiency
  • Payment Execution: Utilise a suite of financial tools—including Treasury Management Systems (TMS), wallet management systems, and internal platforms—to accurately execute high-value payments for treasury rebalancing, client settlements, and other critical operational needs
  • Reconciliation & Investigation: Perform meticulous daily and monthly reconciliations of accounts, trades, and positions, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies to ensure data integrity
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a central point of contact for operational queries, collaborating effectively with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Trading, Tech) and external banking partners to ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by helping to design and implement more efficient and scalable operational workflows

 

Required skills and experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a financial operations, treasury, or a similar role within the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of cryptocurrency and foreign exchange (FX) products and markets.
  • Experience in a fast-growing fintech or technology company
  • A proven track record of contributing to process improvement initiatives
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
