As the Operations Support Manager, Autonomous Ride Hail Vehicles, you will assist with key operational functions such as onboarding, provisioning, materials management, safety/compliance, facilities, reporting, and training coordination. The role provides hands-on operational support to the leadership team to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant daily operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the daily operations of the depot, acting as a key point of contact for onboarding, training coordination, materials control, and operational reporting.
- Manage and resolve AV alerts generated by the fleet monitoring system; ensure proper documentation and escalation of incidents as needed.
- Input and reconcile purchase orders, repair orders, and invoices, ensuring timely processing and cost accuracy
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding logistics, including documentation, equipment provisioning, and HR coordination.
- Support training programs for new hires and ongoing development, ensuring training completion and maintaining accurate training completion records.
- Oversee materials inventory ensuring operational supplies, uniforms, tools, and safety equipment are maintained, ordered, and tracked accurately.
- Manage supply and replenishment of approved cleaning fluids and consumables.
- Manage scheduling, payroll validation, and vendor invoicing as needed.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of equipment (e.g., car keys, laptops, charging gear, cleaning equipment).
- Assist with facilities management, coordinating repairs, maintenance requests, and vendor communications.
- Partner with leadership to coordinate safety and compliance initiatives, including audits, safety training sessions, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards tracking KPIs related to uptime, safety, and materials usage.
- Collaborate with ABG and the partner’s teams to support cross-functional projects and process improvements.
- Provide a safe work environment by ensuring all safety policies and practices are followed and maintained, partnering with Safety where appropriate.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent in education, training or experience)
- 2+ years of progressive experience in related field (rental car, logistics, fleet management, ride hail, mobility services or related service industries) of progressive operations and logistics management, including managing a team of people
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills, self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Proficient in data analytics, forecasting, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel
- Valid driver’s license, authorized to work in the United States and successful completion of pre-employment qualification checks
- Ability to work flexible schedules in a fast-paced environment that may include early morning, nights, or weekends, as determined by business needs
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the location for extended periods, as well as type, communicate clearly, and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in varying environments, such as indoors and outdoors
- This is an on-site, in-person role.
