About the Role
We’re seeking an Operations Services Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and commercially sustainable delivery of transport services for key customer contracts across NSW. Based primarily at our depot in Rosehill, and at various customer sites around Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to lead a talented team and make a measurable impact on cost efficiency, service performance, and contractor engagement.
You’ll lead daily operations, manage service delivery KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining strong customer and contractor relationships. A major focus will be optimising fleet utilisation and reducing reliance on outside hire providers strengthening both service control and profitability.
What You’ll Do
Lead operational delivery across NSW to meet customer and contractual KPIs.
Manage a team of on-site representatives and 80+ subcontract carriers.
Collaborate with internal teams (HR, IT, Finance, IR) to support performance outcomes.
Drive cost efficiency through smart planning and fleet utilisation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and regional agents.
Uphold high standards of safety, compliance, and fairness in all operations.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years’ experience in Courier transport or logistics operations.
Proven ability to lead teams in a high-volume, customer-focused environment.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of cost drivers in courier networks.
Knowledge of key transport legislation and compliance (CoR, WHS, industrial awards).
Proficiency in Excel and route optimisation systems.
A collaborative, solution-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
