Job Description

This position is responsible for delivering back-office operational support to the Products, Sales, and Distribution functions of Old Mutual Zimbabwe’s Fintech business.

Responsibilities

Channel User Onboarding

  • Onboarding Agents/ Merchants and Bulk Payers onto the O’mari platform in line with Old Mutual - Fintech Channel Partner onboarding standards.

  • Activating Agent and Merchant accounts.

  • Resolving Agent and Merchant queries.

Float Rebalancing

  • Processing Agent Float rebalancing requests in liaison with the Sales & Distribution team.

Customer KYC Processing

  • Verifying and uploading customer KYC onto the V-Portal Platform.

  • Following up on customers with incorrect KYC.
     

Customer Query Management

  • Resolving customer queries within required timelines

  • Clearly communicating with customers on progress and outcome of queries

Process & Procedure Formulation

  • Initiating/formulating processes and procedure documents as directed by the Operations Manager. 

  • Contributing to process improvement

Regulatory Returns Compilation & Submission

  • Compiling and timeously submitting regulatory returns (weekly/monthly/quarterly/ad hoc)

Training of Customer Touch Points

  • Conducting Customer Service training for Agents, Contact Centre, Fintech Service Centres, CABS Branches, and Old Mutual Greenzones.

Job requirements

  • At least 2 years Banking and/or Mobile Money experience.

  • Degree in a Business/ Social Science related Field.

  • Excellent written and oral communication.

Essential

  • Worked in an Operations environment before.

  • Strong customer service experience.

  • Confidence in complaint handling.

  • Excellent oral and written communication Knowledge ·

  • Banking and/or Mobile Money products, processes, and services.

  • Customer service standards.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Mobile Money Operations.
