WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead our team in Noida and ensure robust control and accuracy across all asset classes and custodians. This is a senior leadership role, where you will be able to build a team around you, and the competences are primary focused on Reconciliation and Data capture. The role plays a vital part in the firm’s further growth and presence in Noida.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Lead and manage the Reconciliations team across cash, positions, and transactions.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation processes across multiple custodians and brokers.
  • Ensure timely resolution of breaks and data discrepancies with appropriate escalation protocols.
  • Collaborate with external/ internal teams to resolve complex reconciliation issues and data discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement controls to improve reconciliation accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor operational risk and ensure compliance with internal and client standards.
  • Drive automation initiatives and technology enhancements to streamline processes.
  • Prepare and present reconciliation and exception reports to senior management and clients.
  • Lead internal and external audits relating to reconciliation processes.
  • Participate in client onboardings and meetings.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • 7–10+ years of experience in a reconciliation or operations leadership role within asset management, insurance, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of investment instruments including equities, fixed income, and FX.
  • Good understanding of the full investment operations lifecycle (trade capture, settlement, cash & position reconciliation, corporate actions).
  • Prior expertise in reconciliation systems is an advantage (not excel)
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience managing teams in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of data/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
