Operations Manager, Middle Market Property

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our Middle Market Property team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various operational functions, collaborating with the IT department, and working closely with the Executive Vice President to ensure efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day operations, including but not limited to project management, facilities management, and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to implement and optimize technological solutions to streamline operations.
  • Work closely with the Executive Vice President to develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee facilities management, including maintenance, safety, and security protocols. - Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental objectives are met.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in operations management, with a focus on project management and facilities management.
  • Strong understanding of technology and its application in business operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in the Insurance Industry is a plus.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,000-$145,000
