Operations Manager - After Market Solutions (AMS)

We are looking for an Operations Manager for our After Market Solution (AMS) department who thrives in coordinating activities, driving process optimization, and ensuring seamless collaboration between Sales Coordinators and Production Leads. 

You will be responsible for the overall operations of the AMS department, including capacity planning, removing roadblocks, and optimizing workflows. You will have direct leadership responsibility of 2 Team Leads at our production facility and 4 Sales Coordinators.   

You will be based at the Højbjerg/Holme facility in Denmark, reporting to our Director of Global IR Parts and After-Sales Services & Operations, working closely with our Senior Sales Manager of our After Market Solutions department 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, develop, and support your AMS team (Sales Coordinators and Workshop/Production Leads). 

  • Assists with site coordination tasks to ensure high productivity and cost efficiency in execution - This includes representing JOHNSON CONTROLS at site coordination meetings, determining appropriate staffing levels & resources, coordinating subcontractors, project administration, contract resolution, etc. 

  • Identify and remove operational roadblocks to ensure efficient workflow. 

  • Act as the link between Sales and Production, facilitating stronger alignment and collaboration. 

  • Communicate and implement company strategies within your area to ensure team alignment. 

  • Handle technical matters relating to products, such as warranty cases and technical escalations. 

  • Participate in maintaining a high standard for safety and working environment. 

  • Foster a culture of flexibility, efficiency, and continuous improvement. 

 

Your Profile: 

  • University degree within a relevant industry or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Minimum of 6 years relevant experience. 

  • Knowledge of the industrial refrigeration system and heat pump industry. 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 

  • Experience with Oracle, MS Office Suite, and Zendesk is advantageous 

  • Fluency in Danish and English. 

  • Strong skills and track record in leadership.  

  • Proven experience as a team leader.
