Job Summary:

The Operations Director has overall responsibility to ensure that Health Data Solutions (HDS) National Region business process, data integrity, overall process and productivity goals are documented and met. The Operations Director will ensure  all production activities are strategically organized and focused on achievement of company-wide data and operational goals. The Director will do so with an emphasis on business process optimization and development, work quality, operational efficiency, long and short-term planning, customer-oriented thinking and P&L profitability. The Operations Director will work closely with the all levels of operations leadership, as well as the Sales and Client Success teams to achieve these goals. 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Promote a culture of accountability and operational excellence
  • Lead a team of Operations Managers to achieve goals and objectives quickly, efficiently and profitably 
  • Effectively engage support services (HR, IT, Sales, etc.) to ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Coaches and supports team members in achieving performance goals while effectively managing and delivering on individual objectives. Understanding how operational performance impacts overall financial goals
  • Review, analyze, understand and improve daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance with respect to revenue, expenses, profits and margins 
  • Continually seek new opportunities to advance HDS market presence through cultivating existing client relationships and assisting in assessing potential growth areas  
  • Lead successful site implementations of HDS services by coordinating between field and remote teams, and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to develop site-specific implementation plans.
  • Work with team in the regular evaluation of staff, utilizing established benchmarks for evaluating and improving work quality, work quantity, client satisfaction and employee morale 
  • Provide employees the tools and coaching required for successful execution of their duties Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications:

  • At least 7-10 years proven success in manager or director level role 
  • Extremely team oriented 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree strongly preferred 
  • Prior experience in release of information or similar operational settings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required.
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while prioritizing and meeting deadlines 
  • Superior communication skills 
  • Self-motivated 
  • Outstanding customer service with strong negotiation skills 
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical skills and effective problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to handle confidential materials and information in a professional manner 
  • Uphold patient, employee, and volunteer privacy; comply with HIAA and corporate integrity regulations; maintain current certifications, and report any unethical or unlawful activity
