About the team: 
The Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Brazil team is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and challenging non-financial risks across the organization, including operational, technology, cybersecurity, third-party risks. We act as the second line of defense, working independently from business areas to ensure that risk is managed proactively, effectively, and in alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

About the role:
We are looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented Risk Management Analyst to join our team, focusing on the Continuous Monitoring Tool and enhancing our risk oversight capabilities.
In this scope, the role will be critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining data-driven solutions to continuously monitor the effectiveness of our control environment. You will partner with Risk Owners, Process Owners, Technology, and Data teams to translate risk management requirements into automated monitoring processes. The focus will be on leveraging data analysis and automation to provide timely, actionable insights into control performance.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience working with data for risk or control purposes, and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical findings and risk scenarios to diverse audiences. You will be responsible for:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated risk and control monitoring solutions using various data sources and tools.
  • Execute structured data analysis to assess the performance and effectiveness of key controls across various risk areas.
  • Collaborate closely with Risk Partners, Process Owners and other stakeholders to understand their control requirements and translate them into effective monitoring metrics.
  • Prepare and present clear, structured risk analyses and performance reports on the continuous monitoring environment for management and risk committees.
  • Continuously monitor the control environment, identify anomalies or gaps detected by the automated tools, and support risk teams in timely remediation efforts.
  • Act as a liaison between Risk Management and Data teams to ensure the monitoring tool meets governance and technical standards.
  • Support the overall Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Brazil team by contributing data-driven and AI insights to various risk processes.


Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Risk Management or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience with data analysis and/or automation in a professional environment, preferably within risk management or control functions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and technical information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across different teams and seniority levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal communication).
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles
  • Experience with SQL, Databricks, or Scala language is a strong plus, but not mandatory.
