Responsibilities:
KBR is seeking a US Space Force (USSF) Operational Requirements Analyst, Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work at the Pentagon.
The Operational Requirements Analyst will support the USSF Headquarters Staff, office of the Chief of Strategy and Resourcing (CSRO), Directorate of Space Requirements (S5R). The USSF is a military service that organizes, trains, and equips space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force. USSF responsibilities include developing Guardians, acquiring military space systems, maturing the military doctrine for space power, and organizing space forces to present to our Combatant Commands. The Directorate of Requirements is responsible for developing and integrating Joint Space Requirements for the DoD.
The Candidate will:
Required:
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of applicable experience in Service, COCOM, and/or Joint Capabilities development.
Demonstrated understanding of: DoD requirements and acquisition processes.
Ability to lead requirements projects and communicate results effectively to senior leadership.
Desired:
Knowledge of Space Domain Awareness (SDA) platforms such as:
Maui Optical Telescope
Space Fence
Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR)
Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program (GSSAP)
EO/IR Weather System – Geostationary (EWS-G1)
Exposure to AI/ML applications in space data analysis.
Experience with JCIDS documentation and processes.
