Officer - Transaction Capture Analyst - C09 - Custody Operations

Key Responsibilities and Qualities

  • Manage all aspects of Custody account opening, trade settlements, reporting, and announcements/settlements of corporate events.
  • Prompt and professional engagement with a custody client base primarily consisting of foreign institutional clients.
  • Ensure delivery standards are consistently met for Citi clients.
  • Coordinate with CDS / SEC and other market players regarding account openings / transfers.
  • Liaise with regional product development / service teams for product enhancement, billing, accounts, and security code maintenance.
  • Work with the local product team to respond to queries and correspondences.

Regulatory and Compliance

  • Prepare and deliver regulatory reporting.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors on audit-related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal, external, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform periodical system/product related testing (COB/MCA testing).

Project Management and Support

  • Apply project management skills for liaison with multiple stakeholders to drive systemic enhancements to closure.
  • Provide implementation support, administrative, and operations coordination for various products, programs, and services offered by the business.
  • Gather and prepare data/MIS for the cluster and region.

  • Excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.

Professional Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in banking operations.
  • Experience in institutions linked to Custody / Markets Operation is preferred.
  • Proven success in a team environment.

  • Efficient and effective in numerical tasks and transactions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail and intermediate problem-solving skills.

Education and Certifications

  • Should possess Advanced Level qualifications (minimum 3 passes, excluding optional subjects) or professional qualifications in a related field.
  • A professional qualification from a recognized university / an affiliated institution will be considered an added advantage.
