The OEM team within Personal Systems has been serving OEM customers for over 40 years, delivering tailored solutions that empower their unique intellectual property across verticals such as Healthcare & Life Sciences, Industrial & Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics, and Media & Entertainment.

The OEM Technical Customer Manager is a strategic and technical leader responsible for providing white-glove program management and technical consultation to HP’s top OEM accounts. This role sits within the Advanced Compute Solutions group and serves as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external partners.

You will drive alignment between customer needs and HP’s internal capabilities, lead cross-functional collaboration, and serve as the subject matter expert on HP’s OEM offerings. Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for global OEM accounts.

  • Provide roadmap and planning insights (platform, commodity, regulatory).
  • Support sales teams during customer engagements and visits.
  • Act as a pre-sales technical consultant for Advanced Compute Solutions.
  • Lead change management efforts (SCRs, lifecycle influence, LTB planning).
  • Navigate and resolve “grey space” where processes are undefined or inconsistent.
  • Maintain active engagement with CSS engineering to support current and future development.
  • Create and deliver roadmap and planning content.
  • Define Lifecycle Agreements and draft Long-Life documentation.
  • Lead internal cadence across HP’s Big 3 teams.
  • Drive customer NPI projects and integration into Custom Services (CIS).
  • Interface between OEM and HP R&D teams.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 7+ years in enterprise sales or business development.
  • Preferred: 3+ years in Data Science, Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree preferred in Business Administration or a technical field.

The base pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
