Night Shift Supervisor – Distribution Operations  

Location: Holt, MI Distribution Center  

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 6pm - completion

This role is about more than managing processes — it’s about inspiring and supporting people. You’ll oversee inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving while leading a dedicated team of warehouse associates. Key Responsibilities 

• Lead with Service: Inspire and support your team by removing barriers, listening actively, and creating an environment where associates can succeed. 

• Operational Excellence: Manage all aspects of night shift operations, ensuring timely and accurate order processing and delivery. 

• Safety & Compliance: Champion safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and McKesson policies, fostering a culture of accountability and care. 

• Team Development: Coach, mentor, and develop team members, supporting their growth and career aspirations while building bench strength for the future. 

• Collaboration: Partner with transportation, inventory, and cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance supply chain efficiency. 

• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and cost optimization. 

• Communication: Maintain clear, transparent communication with employees and leadership to ensure alignment with McKesson’s mission and goals. 

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reporting to support operational transparency and audit readiness. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent experience in warehouse distribution 

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution environments 

• Strong understanding of inventory systems, warehouse management software, and material handling equipment 

• Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced settings while maintaining high standards of quality and safety 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust across teams and departments 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) 

• Familiarity with lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies preferred 

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety
