The Night Auditor is a central part of the Front Office Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests have a smooth arrival and departure experience. As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high profile department carries a special responsibility. The Front Office is also the natural place where guests direct comments, questions, suggests and concerns. This position requires a high level of professionalism with a friendly and calm demeanor in a sometimes demanding environment. Previous experience with hotel reservations systems will be beneficial. We are seeking candidates who have a passion for providing the best in class service and can connect with guests by demonstrating the finer touches of luxury service.
What you will do:
The ability to run financial reports, complete overnight audits and ensure accuracy of information.
The ability to identify report discrepancies, communicate issues to supervisor and resolve.
The ability to keep all support departments informed of necessary information or requests.
The ability to handle safety deposit box requests; including distributing, giving access to and closing procedures.
The ability to complete key packets and vouchers, and to modify registration cards.
The ability to check guests out of the hotel in accordance with procedures; make change, cash checks, exchange foreign currency, and post charges to guest accounts.
The ability to maintain a balanced bank assigned to you from the hotel.
The ability to reconcile all transactions at the close of the shift and to cash out.
What you bring:
One to two years’ previous experience in Guest Services roles; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
Strong communication skills

Schedule & Hours:
• Successful candidates will be hired as a casual, part time employee. Successful candidates are expected to work overnight, holidays, and/or weekends.
