Job Purpose:

Net Revenue Management (NRM) has been identified as a strategic key lever and is one of the key organizational capability areas that will help deliver our Canadian financial ambition. In this created role, you will be responsible for creating growth strategies through promotion optimization and pricing. More specifically, you will evaluate customer promotional strategies including alignment with brand objectives, promotional responsiveness as well as ROI profile, and recommend an optimal promotion strategy at a customer level. You will collaborate and act as a crucial link with the sales team throughout the NRM process to ensure strategy alignment and execution. Furthermore, you will lead the pricing analysis and modeling (elasticity, slopes and ladders) and support the development of the customer tools and presentation. Finally, you will support the cross functional team including Sales Strategy & Marketing with channel pack opportunities and assortment optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

As an NRM Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Evaluate customer promotional strategies including alignment with brand objectives, promotional responsiveness as well as ROI profile. Recommend an optimal promotion strategy and develop the tools to present to customers.
  • Leading the account clinics across key customers to review the promotional ROI analysis and ensure the tool is embedded across the organization.
  • Deliver recommendations to continuously finetune tactical and strategic activation plans and to optimize ROI.
  • Conduct in-depth portfolio assessments to identify price gaps, lead price analysis and modeling and highlight white spaces to support the brand and portfolio strategy
  • Support the Sales Strategy and Brand teams in the optimization of channel-customer /pack mix to accelerate profitable growth for GSK and customers
  • Develop methodologies & analytical tools in order to perform financial analyses and scenario development that will be the base for portfolio pricing simulations
  • Collaborate with Sales Strategy, Sales, Marketing and Finance teams throughout the NRM process to ensure strategy alignment and execution
  •  Support the NRM training and capability Agenda

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years’ background in Net Revenue Management, an analysis or business strategy role preferably in CPG.
  • Strong experience with Nielsen Price Analytics and other pricing modeling tools.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation communication skills to influence an audience.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across all functions and brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform analytics by using excel and use results to drive outcomes, strong familiarity with P&L.
  • Detail oriented self-starter with strong results orientation, track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Innovative thinking to develop insight-based recommendations and implement strategies to increase profitability.
  • Expertise in one or more of: pricing / promo analytics, tool development, syndicated data, trade terms optimization, promotional effectiveness.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and POWER BI.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, including being an excellent communicator and presenter.
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical, problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA an asset.
