We've got an exciting Multimedia Communications Specialist opportunity open. You will advise on creative concepts and direction, design solutions, and/or art direction for print materials, presentations, and audiovisual mediums. You'll transform draft materials and concepts into concise and meaningful end products as well as partner with and may lead cross-functional teams to implement creative media solutions.
Responsibilities:
Video Production:
Lead end-to-end video creation: concept development, scripting, filming, editing, and post-production. Produce short-form and long-form video content tailored to internal and external audiences. Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure visual storytelling aligns with brand and strategic goals.
Transforms draft materials and concepts into concise and meaningful visuals and/or media solutions. Directs and manages multiple and/or higher profile creative services projects and ensures a cohesive production or end-product.
Maintains and develops design standards and brand identity. Complies with Vanguard policies regarding electronic media.
Strategic Communications:
Develop and execute multimedia communication plans that support divisional and enterprise-wide initiatives. Translate complex business strategies into compelling visual and written narratives. Monitor and report on communication effectiveness using analytics and stakeholder feedback.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with subject matter experts, business leaders, and communications colleagues to gather insights and shape messaging. Facilitate feedback loops and ensure alignment across teams. Actively contribute to cross-functional projects.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proven experience in professional video production (portfolio required).
Strong writing and storytelling skills across multimedia formats.
Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic communication plans.
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Airtable, SharePoint, and video editing platforms.
Minimum of five years related work experience.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Video Production, Broadcast Journalism, Mass Communications or other creative arts degree preferred.
