Typical Accountabilities:
• Project manages a team that ensures all brand materials for a specific therapy area are kept up to date and accurate
• Advises the marketing team as a regional healthcare expert ensuring the medical and scientific accuracy of outgoing marketing materials
• Signatory responsibility for necessary material
• Personally provides expert scientific support and approval on brand materials involving large or more complex drugs, or documents and reports for more important conferences and clinical trails
• Has sign off authority on outgoing materials
• Oversees the launch of new clinical trials or clinical market access projects, ensuring all associated outgoing materials are scientifically and medically accurate
• Ensures that all branding work is carried out in accordance with AstraZeneca standards and external regulation
• Organises and delivers education and training to employees within the sales and marketing function to ensure their knowledge is kept up to date

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Qualified Doctor; Thorough knowledge or experience of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the area of marketing; Project and relationship management experience; Experience of providing an advisory role on clinical trials; Knowledge of legislation relevant to pharmaceutical sales and marketing
• Desirable: Advanced scientific degree; Understanding of multiple aspects within Brand Medics; Extensive knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory expectations
