What you’ll do as a mobile developer:
Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other teams with a flexible, team-first mindset to solve problems and achieve company goals
Design, develop, test, debug, and demonstrate new capabilities throughout the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment
Take initiative in proposing and implementing application changes to address business needs.
Provide technical direction and perform regular code reviews to promote good software development practices and strengthen leadership skills
Conduct critical analysis on code, performance, system risk, security, and software reliability, ensuring continual testing, proofing, and tuning for quality and usability
Support, maintain, and document new capabilities developed by the team
Communicate effectively to articulate your team’s work to peers, product owners, and other stakeholders
Always prioritize the user’s needs and wants in development, testing, and optimization efforts
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of mobile application development using object-oriented design, with understanding of Android, iOS, or React Native components and their lifecycles
Experience with mobile database management (MySQL, SQLite, Room, Firebase, Realm etc.)
Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with test and build frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Gradle, etc.)
Track record of designing and developing applications for Google Play or App Store
Experience working closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, engineers, DevOps, and testers to deliver quality mobile app experiences
