Key Role:
Advise, assist, and provide detailed analysis and planning support for long lead projects and emerging strategic initiatives in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations. Analyze, assess, and recommend implementable updates when changes in organizational structure, force design, and physical distribution is anticipated or will occur as well as determine impacts to training objectives and readiness requirements when aligning to tactical, strategic, and operational infrastructure changes. Attend and integrate into cross-functional and multi-tiered planning conferences, working groups, and site surveys to gather data, plan, and provide recommendations to representatives on the risks, benefits, and potential outcomes of aligning, prioritizing, and distributing limited infrastructure resources in the context of mission priorities, tasks, and requirements. Analyze and assess strategic guidance documents, directives, and plans for impacts and issues relating to mission priorities, tasks, and requirements, and provide planning expertise in the development and update of all assigned operations plans. Conduct strategic analysis and long-range planning to identify and recommend updates, new operating concepts, and emerging technologies in operational plans, time-phased force flow deployment plans, and exercises. Assist with the design and execution of exercises to test, recommended operating concepts, and identify gaps in capabilities requiring adjustments to account for environmental changes, new and emerging friendly capabilities, and competitor threats. Coordinate with internal and external staff sections on product development, plan presentations, and organizational integration.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in exercise planning in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations
3+ years of experience in military logistics concepts, capabilities, force structure, and organization
2+ years of experience in exercise planning, preparation, and coordination with adjacent components and Higher Headquarters Commands
Knowledge of military organization and culture of Joint Forces and partner allies
Knowledge of a variety of DoD networks for information gathering, including NIPR, SIPR, and CENTRIX
Ability to apply information from documents to advise force deployment, laydown, and design supporting Training and Readiness objectives
Ability to advise leadership on means to achieve exercise, force laydown, and planning objectives within resource availability
Ability to clearly communicate complex data analysis topics to senior executive leaders and their respective staffs, and to work with senior-level staff members at the Joint and Combined level
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Graduate of Expeditionary Warfare School or Command and Staff College

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
