Summary
As a Team Lead in the Research & Development of microbial control technologies for water treatment processes, you will drive the development of innovative solutions supporting utility water, paper processing, and food and beverage applications. This role requires strong scientific expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Plan, design, and execute product and process research related to microbial control technologies tailored for water treatment systems.
Develop and advance innovative technologies addressing microbial control challenges across multiple industrial applications.
Serve as the technical lead for one or more R&D programs, providing scientific direction and strategic input.
Offer specialized expertise in genetic engineering, molecular biology, and microbial physiology to support technology development efforts.
Independently interpret research findings to guide next steps in development and optimization.
Coordinate external resources including contractors, consultants, and academic collaborators.
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of professional researchers, technicians, and cross-functional partners.
Support applications and field sales teams by providing technical insights and training on new technologies.
Ph.D. in microbiology, genetic engineering, molecular biology, microbial physiology, or a related scientific discipline.
Demonstrated expertise in microbiology, genetic engineering, molecular biology, and microbial physiology, preferably in water treatment applications.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, providing leadership while fostering collaboration.
Experience with statistical analysis, design of experiments (DOE), and process simulation techniques.
Strong track record of innovation, creative problem-solving, and the development of novel technologies addressing complex microbial control challenges.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $105,600.00 and $176,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
