JOB MISSION: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Merchandising Operations Specialist to manage and optimize merchandise operations across our retail organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient inventory management, pricing strategies, product allocation, and procurement processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Buying, Planning, Logistics, E-Commerce, and IT to support business goals and drive operational excellence. 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:  

  • Develop and implement an omni-channel pricing strategy across the organization. 
  • Manage a team of Merchandising Operations coordinators and intern. 
  • Monitor daily inventory positions, analyze imbalances, and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Oversee all stock movements and provide proactive feedback to Planning. 
  • Analyze retail profit performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability. 
  • Collaborate with Planning to execute in-season markdowns and promotions, forecasting margin and markdown spend. 
  • Maintain and distribute weekly topline reports on inventory positions and exposures. 
  • Partner with IT and Merchandising to streamline, maintain, and correct data across systems. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience in retail operations, merchandising, or planning. 
  • Proficiency in retail systems and data tools. 
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
