Medical Sales Representative – Respiratory & Immunology

Join AstraZeneca’s Respiratory & Immunology (R&I) team as a Medical Sales Representative, where you’ll deliver life-changing medicines and build meaningful connections with healthcare professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to promote our R&I portfolio within an assigned territory, establishing close liaisons with key healthcare professionals and institutions across respiratory and immunology care pathways. Accountabilities:

As a Medical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Achieving and exceeding individual objectives for Respiratory & Immunology products within your designated territory.
• Identifying and establishing relationships with physicians, key opinion leaders, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions involved in respiratory and immunology care.
• Communicating key promotional messages using approved literature and other marketing materials aligned to R&I indications and guidelines.
• Managing the territorial budget, executing activities for assigned products, and developing and maintaining maximum territory coverage.
• Organizing local seminars, workshops, and group product presentations in a professional manner to promote R&I products and enhance the company image.
• Analyzing market situations, sales data, and monitoring competition activities to determine regional opportunities in respiratory and immunology.
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with the highest standards of ethics and integrity required by the Code of Conduct, supporting Policies and Standards, and Company requirements.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• University degree, preferably in Medicine or Pharmacy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Personal initiative – ambitious and motivated
• Excellent planning and organizing skills
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Customer orientation and analytical skills
• Good level of English
• Good computer skills
• Valid driving license

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within respiratory/immunology
• Proven track record in sales
