Job Summary

The Technical Analyst for Media Technology Services will provide dedicated, on-site support for Corewell Health’s conference rooms at the CHP campus. This role ensures the reliable operation of meeting and media technology systems, including Microsoft Teams Room devices, Wireless presentation systems (Clickshare), Space booking and digital signage platforms.

The analyst will serve as a key resource for large-scale meetings, offering hands-on setup, live event support, and post-event follow-up to ensure exceptional hybrid and in-person experiences. While the primary focus is onsite media technology support, the analyst may also contribute to broader Media Technology Services tasks, such as inventory support, endpoint configuration, or documentation when onsite demands are light.

This position works closely with Digital Services team members, vendors, and leadership teams to maintain system performance, standardize configurations, and drive user adoption of Corewell Health’s meeting and collaboration technology.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the on-site technical lead for large meetings and events at CHP, including executive town halls, leadership forums, and community sessions.
  • Provide daily support for Microsoft Teams Rooms and related systems across conference rooms and collaboration spaces.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues involving displays, microphones, cameras, speakers, codecs, and control systems (Crestron, Extron).
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain ClickShare wireless presentation devices to ensure reliable, secure content sharing.
  • Support digital signage & background music solutions.
  • Maintain and update space management platforms for meeting room booking and occupancy displays.
  • Collaborate with Digital Service team members to maintain optimal AV system performance.
  • Participate in lifecycle management activities such as device audits, firmware updates, and standards enforcement.
  • Provide user coaching and training, enabling staff and leaders to confidently use AV and collaboration tools.
  • Support additional Media Technology Services tasks when event load is minimal.
  • Assist with technology pilots, upgrades, and special projects to continuously improve the digital meeting experience. 

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's Degree/Technical school or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting AV or media technology systems in a large enterprise or healthcare settings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron/Extron systems, ClickShare, and digital signage platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Physical ability to transport, install, or configure AV equipment (up to 50 lbs)
  • Able to work in an on-call rotation about once every 6 weeks outside of business hours

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Experience in event correlation/log analysis, failure analysis/reporting, root cause analysis, risk assessment and troubleshooting
