Job Summary: Serves as the Meatcutter in a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) location. The primary purpose of this position is to Perform the full range of meatcutting tasks associated with processing beef, pork, veal and lamb into retail and ready-to-eat-cuts for sales to patrons. Major Duties:

Examples of qualifying experience: Preparing ready-to-eat cuts and special orders such as crown roasts. Using hand tools and operating powered meat cutting equipment. Rotating stock, stacking containers, and participating in inventories. Cleaning and sanitizing meatcutting tools, equipment and work areas to maintain required standards. You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Physical requirements: (1) Stand, stoop, kneel, bend and climb for prolonged periods. (2) Lift, push, pull, carry, and handle items weighing up to 40 pounds independently and occasionally over 40 pounds with assistance. You will attest to your ability to perform these physical requirements in the Questionnaire.
