Summary of Position:
The Measurement Data Analyst will support the Technical Field Services group, including Measurement Technicians, Field Operators, and other departments within WaterBridge. The Measurement Data Analyst will use analytical tools and databases to ensure data integrity, measurement accuracy, and communication with meters. The position requires compiling monthly volume totals for distribution to customers. The individual should be able to identify data errors and implement new data analysis processes.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The following represents most of the position's duties but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.
As a Measurement Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Providing sound technical support to field technicians through analytical training and data auditing.
- Troubleshooting and identifying operational issues, providing root cause analysis, and generating resolution recommendations utilizing SCADA software.
- Quality control daily volumes. Utilizing existing software tools and spreadsheets to visualize inlet and outlet trends to identify outliers easily.
- Comparing data sources for meter volume readings.
- Monitoring inlet and outlet volumes on a basin and area level. Ensuring subsystem balances and identifying imbalances.
- Adjusting the data source within the database when discrepancies are identified.
- Linking meters to the appropriate operator to ensure billing accuracy.
- Generating daily volume summaries and distributing them throughout the company via email.
- Billing data compilation. Generating spreadsheets of monthly volume totals per operator and basin.
- Assisting with answering customer questions and settling reporting disputes.
- Creating new data tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of measurement processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of, or experience with, databases/queries (SQL, etc.) and data analysis tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tibco Spotfire, SAP, SAS, etc.) is required.
- Must have 3+ years of relevant measurement or data analytical experience.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills required, including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, and communicate with various agencies, customers, and all levels of company staff and management.
- Must be willing to travel to the supporting field locations: Midland, Orla, Pecos, and Kenedy, Texas, and Carlsbad, New Mexico.
- Familiarity with field applications such as RTU or PLC is a plus.

- Operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment.
Position Type:
- This is a full-time position.
- Schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with Work from Home (WFH) ½ day on Friday
